The 2003 Birthday Party celebrating Jane's 228th birthday was held at the Harbor Court Hotel in Baltimore. Van Sapp, Co-regional Coordinator, gave a presentation entitled, "Travels in Search of Jane Austen." Van regaled us with tales of his adventures in Chawton, Winchester and on other sites connected with Jane Austen. The discussion was followed by a birthday tea in the Brightons Tea Room.
